The story so far...
The Chocolate Brown story began in 2007 in a little South Island town called Geraldine. The original Chocolate Factory was set up 15 years earlier by a Swiss couple passionate about chocolate. The business was purchased, re-branded as Chocolate Brown and moved to Queenstown. After three successful years, Chocolate Brown moved to Warkworth where we have been operating for 8 years with a busy Cafeteria, Retail Chocolaterie and Factory, employing over 30 staff and producing our handmade award winning chocolates for our many retail, wholesale and corporate clients throughout New Zealand.
The Chocolaterie hand makes its beautiful award-winning chocolates on site every day from the finest gourmet Callebaut couverture & the freshest of New Zealand's real butter & cream along with other ingredients & decorations sourced from passionate growers, manufacturers & suppliers.
Home to all of the Chocolate Brown products as well as traditional British sweets, Dutch liquorice and many varieties of fresh fudge.
With its stylish causal ambience, the Cafeteria is made intimate with the cosy fire in winter and veranda seating on warmer days. The Cafeteria is open for Brunch & Lunch daily.

And we're open at nights Thursday, Friday and Saturday 4pm til 10pm. Fully licensed, Later @ Chocolate Brown is a great place to share food with friends, tapas style, with larger platters, or a pasta or burger - and then a little indulgence in the chocolate treats of the day.
