Chocolate Brown - Nothing else in the World quite like it!
 
To create our beautiful handmade chocolates, you must begin with the best of ingredients. The very nature of cocoa butter makes it the only edible substance that melts at 34c just below body temperature; it only takes 6 degrees to go from hard to liquid. This gives the sensational melt in the mouth experience. 
 
Quality
At Chocolate Brown the finest Belgian Callebaut & French  Valrhona Coverture is used  to create our range of handmade Chocolates.  For our fillings we use quality ingredients that we source from other passionate suppliers & growers. 
 
New Zealand real cream, butter & fresh nuts, fruits, liqueurs & natural flavours are added to enrich the many different varieties. 
 
No preservatives are added to extend shelve life.
The majority of our range is Gluten Free. Many Dairy Free items are also available.
 
Gianduja:
Our most widely used filling, Gianduja was first produced in the latter half of the 19th century. The Napoleonic wars caused cocoa to be rationed, so a blend of nuts was added to the chocolate to make it go further. It proved so popular that is has become the staple ingredient it is today. We use our own special blend of chocolate & ground roasted & caramelized nuts to hand make our Gianduja.
 
Truffle:
This most divine of partnerships of the finest New Zealand cream & the finest of Belgium chocolate blended together to make a smooth indulgent filling which keeps you divinely attentive.
 
Marzipan: 
In our handmade marzipan we use freshly ground Almonds, sugar with a final hint of Almond extract to add that special hit. We supply it as is and enrobed in the finest dark chocolate.
 
 
Fondant: 
A soft sweet sugar filling that is enhanced with flavours  like peppermint and berry, has a unique smooth texture.
